Paper
Following recent observations of unexpectedly massive galaxies at high redshift by the James Webb Space Telescope, the revision of Dark Matter (DM) models --specifically regarding how DM couples to gravity-- has become a central topic in Cosmology. In this paper, we develop an axion model for Cold Dark Matter (CDM) with a non-minimal coupling to gravity. From this framework, we evaluate the gravitational instability in the hydrodynamic limit. Our results demonstrate how gravitational instabilities depend on the non-minimal coupling parameter, providing a novel tool for aligning with the high-redshift observations from the James Webb Space Telescope.
